<p>Oprettede siden med &#039;Den 11. november 1904 stiftedes Børnenes Vel i Vejle med det formål at arrangere <a href="/index.php?title=B%C3%B8rnehj%C3%A6lpsdag" title="Børnehjælpsdag">Børnehjælpsdag</a> og skaffe midler til vanskeligt stillede børn. Børnenes Vel afsatte p…&#039;</p> <p><b>Ny side</b></p><div>Den 11. november 1904 stiftedes Børnenes Vel i Vejle med det formål at arrangere [[Børnehjælpsdag]] og skaffe midler til vanskeligt stillede børn.<br /> <br /> Børnenes Vel afsatte penge til børns landophold, og i 1908 begyndte selskabets fritidshjem, der i begyndelsen også var vuggestue, i [[Søgade]] 8. Senere flyttedes fritidshjemmet til [[Aagade]].<br /> <br /> 1923 lejede Børnenes Vel en villa på [[Hvidbjerg]], men året efter købtes Hvidbjerg Badehotel, og her blev indrettet feriekoloni. 1948 fik man også en feriekoloni på Endelave, [[Louisenlund]].<br /> De to feriekolonier blev en vigtig sommeroplevelse for mange af Vejles børn, idet feriekolonierne blev udlånt til byens skoler.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> [[Kategori:Andet]]</div>
